Houston Mission Trip
The women of First Baptist Carrollton have the privilege of partnering with Spark Ministry on an exciting mission trip to Houston on November 16 - 19. The goal of this dynamic ministry is to provide hurting women, living at Star of Hope Mission, a faith-based recovery center, a weekend retreat they will never forget. The weekend will be filled with dynamic Bible study, praise and worship, gifts of love and encouragement, meals, fun filled outings and lots of laughter. Help is needed with cooking, crafts, decorations and gifts. Cost is only $495. ($100 deposit is due)
Girls’ Night Out - Craft Night
Craft Night will be Fridays from 4 pm until midnight in the Parlor. Bring your favorite craft (cross-stitching, needlepoint, knitting and crochet, sewing, quilting, card making, scrapbooking, etc.) and a snack. Enjoy a time of fellowship with other women. Dates are August 26, September 16, October 21, and November 18.
Chick Chat & Craft: Learning a new craft technique
Come on Thursday, September 22, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parlor and learn to make cards, use a die cut machine, and other fun techniques to enhance and inspire your creativity! Craft tools and supplies will be provided. Bring a friend and your favorite snack, and enjoy fellowship with the ladies! Also, mark your calendars for October 13, and November 10.
Exceptional Moms: Loving Your Special Needs Child
“May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
If you are a mom of a special needs child, you do not want to miss the Exceptional Moms’ group led by Rosemary Yow and Shelly Strawbridge. We will meet and encourage one another, share resources, and allow the God of hope to fill us with joy and peace. Special Needs include: Aspergers, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning differences, depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar, behavioral problems, or anger issues. Free loving child-care will be provided. Monthly meetings will normally be the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Check the calendar for dates, times, and room assignment. Everyone is welcome!

Everlasting Hope: Ministering and Mentoring Women in Need
Everlasting Hope is a 10- week class where women are ministering and mentoring women in need. Class is every Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm in the Parlor starting on September 13. Spanish speaking mentors needs as well. Child-care is provided with advanced reservations.
Coffee Table Talk Book Club
Do you love to read? Then you will not want to miss the fun and laughter at Coffee Table Talk! Come join other women each month as we sit around the coffee table, enjoy a cup of coffee, and discuss a current book we have read together. We will meet the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 – 8 pm in the Coffee Shop at The Fields starting Tuesday, September 6. Invite a friend to join our Coffee Table Talk!
Girl Talk
Join us on Wednesday, November 9, at 6:30 pm in Room 102 as teams of women will visit prospects and new members to build a friendship and educate about the opportunities within the church and Women’s Ministry.
